A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Sisterhood of Rosak evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen using voiceover is from one called “Mentats of Dune.” All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suc Doctors.. I knew it couldn’t be the same quality as the movies, but I didn’t expect it to be so…
No depth, the conversations are sometimes quite unpleasant
mediocre. For a moment I thought it was an Amazon production, not HBO. For some roles it’s not the right casting choice; not bcs, the actors are bad, but they’re just not right for the role.
There’s no real special effect, it feels a bit low budget
Too much going on in the first episode and jumping from one scene to another as if they’re in a hurry. Also for some scenes I wonder why they even bothered to make them. I’m not sure what camera they used, but the shots look too ordinary.
I really hope it gets better
